Duke University

Situated centrally on the Duke University campus in Durham, North Carolina, and standing at 210 feet, Duke Chapel graces the university with both beauty and history. As a widely recognized symbol of the university, the Chapel offers sanctuary open to all. In partnership with the Division of Student Affairs, it supports and advocates for all recognized religious life groups on campus.

Formally dedicated on June 2, 1935, the Chapel’s architects were Horace Trumbauer of Philadelphia and his chief designer, Julian Abele, America’s first black architect of renown.

Differing textures of glass used in the creation of pieces offered assure the unique quality of each piece. Chapel reproductions sit in hand cut and stained finished hardwood bases (Duke 1 in walnut, Duke 2-7 in hickory).

$275.00 Introductory pricing; 7 pieces remaining. Twenty percent donated to St.Jude’s Hospital for Children.
